GAM Day at the Capitol

Description

GAM invites you to join Georgia manufacturers, industry leaders and community partners at the Capitol for GAM Day, a high impact advocacy event designed to spotlight the strength, innovation, and economic impact of manufacturing in Georgia.  

Please bring members from your team. Our aim is to "pack the Capitol" and make a bold, unified impression on Georgia's legislators -- demonstrating the strength of our manufacturing community and why it matters.

Attendees will hear from a special guest speaker (TBD) who will provide a 2026 legislative session update on key manufacturing initiatives and priorities shaping our state's future.

This event will also mark the launch of the first round of The Georgia Manufacturers' Playoffs. The contest will recognize and determine which manufacturer makes the most interesting and innovative product in our state. From cutting-edge products to unexpected innovations, the Playoffs will highlight the breadth and ingenuity of Georgia-made manufacturing.

AGENDA

8:45 am: Arrival

9:00 am: Networking with elected officials in the Rotunda (note that with Session underway, officials will be stopping in and stepping out)

9:30 am: Special guest speaker to provide an update on the 2026 Legislative Session, launch of The Georgia Manufacturers' Playoffs

10:30 am: Event concludes

PARKING & SECURITY

Please click here to see a map showing parking locations and the Capitol entrance for your convenience. We have highlighted the closest parking lots available for visitors. It is recommended that you park in the Capitol Lot next to Liberty Plaza. Please be aware that only one entrance on Capitol Square is currently open, situated on the left side when facing the Capitol stairs. You will need to show your driver’s license to clear security.

ATTIRE:

Business attire is appropriate. Jackets are encouraged for gentlemen.
