Please join us for our second annual GAM Energy Summit, co-sponsored by Gas South and Georgia Power Company.


As energy demand continues to grow across Georgia, manufacturers and large commercial customers are facing increasingly complex decisions related to reliability, affordability, infrastructure development, emerging technologies, and regulatory policy. The Energy Summit brings together industry leaders, policymakers, utilities, marketers, and energy innovators to discuss the trends shaping Georgia's energy future and what they mean for energy consumers.




  • Energy CEO “fireside chat” moderated by GAM Vice President and General Counsel Clay Jones and featuring Annalisa Bloodworth of Oglethorpe Power, Walt Ferrell of Atlanta Gas Light, Kim Greene of Georgia Power and Kevin Greiner of Gas South.


  • (Panel) Data center load growth and Georgia’s energy future, featuring Chairman Brad Thomas of the Georgia House Special Committee on Resource Management, Aaron Mitchell, Senior Vice President of Strategic Growth for Georgia Power, and a representative from Google (additional speakers invited).


  • Price forecasts, storage, supply, and construction of natural gas capacity infrastructure, and other fundamentals from industry subject-matter experts representing Gas South, Atlanta Gas Light Company and Kinder Morgan/Southern Natural Gas.


  • Energy rate affordability, presented by GAM energy consultant and expert witness Jeff Pollock.


  • (Panel) The current state of renewable energy and its future, featuring representatives from QCells, Cherry Street Energy and Cobb EMC.


  • (Panel) Energy management for industrial and manufacturing facilities, presented by Willdan, Burton Energy and the renowned Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.


  • A concluding “fireside chat” with Clay Jones, Georgia PSC Chairman Jason Shaw and PSC Commissioner Tricia Pridemore.


  • Immediately afterward, stay for a casual reception and continued conversation.
