Please join us for our second annual GAM Energy Summit, co-sponsored by Gas South and Georgia Power Company.

As energy demand continues to grow across Georgia, manufacturers and large commercial customers are facing increasingly complex decisions related to reliability, affordability, infrastructure development, emerging technologies, and regulatory policy. The Energy Summit brings together industry leaders, policymakers, utilities, marketers, and energy innovators to discuss the trends shaping Georgia's energy future and what they mean for energy consumers.

Energy CEO “fireside chat” moderated by GAM Vice President and General Counsel Clay Jones and featuring Annalisa Bloodworth, President and CEO of Oglethorpe Power; Jim Kerr, President and CEO of Southern Company Gas; Cleve Fann, SVP Region External Affairs at Georgia Power; and Kevin Greiner, CEO of Gas South.

(Panel) Data center load growth and Georgia’s energy future, featuring Chairman Brad Thomas of the Georgia House Special Committee on Resource Management; Aaron Mitchell, Senior Vice President of Strategic Growth for Georgia Power; and Tyler Mauldin, Lead-Energy Markets & Policy for Google.

Price forecasts, storage, supply, construction of natural gas capacity infrastructure, and other fundamentals from industry subject-matter experts including David Wagner, VP of Supply & Origination at Gas South; Greg Becker, Director of Capacity Planning for Southern Company Gas; and Ryan Leahy, Director of Business Development for Kinder Morgan/Southern Natural Gas.

An examination of how to promote energy rate affordability, presented by GAM energy consultant and expert witness Jeff Pollock of J. Pollock Inc.

(Panel) Scott Moskowitz, Vice President of Market Strategy and Public Affairs at Qcells; Daniel Uribe, Director of Internal Operations and Systems at Cherry Street Energy; and Tim Jarrell, EVP, Power Supply and Emerging Technologies at Cobb EMC.

(Panel) Energy management for industrial and manufacturing facilities, presented by Scott Wetteland, Senior Engineer at Willdan; Jason Thompson, Vice President of Demand Side Programs at Burton Energy Group; and Rory Schmick, Energy Policy Researcher at the renowned Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.

A concluding “fireside chat” with Clay Jones, Georgia PSC Chairman Jason Shaw and PSC Commissioner Tricia Pridemore.
